It seems that consumers will no longer accept a baby crib as a stand-alone product.  Most of the featured designs High Point were transformers!  No, these are not the robots that you see in the movie theaters.  They are new crib designs that offer multiple add on features, which allow your crib to grow into a toddler bed, a day bed, and finally into a full size bed for kids.

These are known as convertible cribs, and often also feature options such as adjustable height mattresses, storage drawers, and trundles.  But, if you look at these cribs, you may not even be aware that they are convertibles! Having a crib that will be functional and look great until a child reaches their teens certainly creates VALUE.
